I traveled to South Africa in May of 2006 with the Lehigh Philharmonic Orchestra. We visited Johannesburg, Kruger National Park, Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Our concerts consisted of the amazing Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. It was one of the most emotional, moving experiences of my life. Everything was amazing from the culture to the scenery. It's wonderful to see a culture that loves every aspect of their country. I know I did leave part of my heart in South Africa and I'm looking forward to returning to find it again.
